Use Vemly from your AI editor
Connect Claude Code, Cursor or another AI tool to your Vemly account with a personal key. Then ask in plain words: your editor reads and acts on Vemly for you, as you, inside the same rules as the website.
What it is
Vemly has a server that AI tools can talk to (an MCP server). You give your tool a key made from your account. From then on you can say "find missions about booking apps" or "post what I shipped today" without leaving your editor.
The key acts as you. It can do what you can do on Vemly, and nothing more: the same checks, the same limits, the same rules. What it posts is public under your name, so ask your editor to show you a text before it sends it.
How to connect
- Log in and open Connect your AI in your space.
- Under "Your keys", give the key a name, choose what it acts as, and press "Make a key". You see the key one time only: copy it and keep it secret, like a password.
- In your AI tool, add a new MCP server with the address below, and give it your key as a "Bearer" token.
- Ask your editor: "Who am I on Vemly?" It answers with your name and what your key can do.
The address
https://www.vemly.ai/api/market/mcp
Example for Claude Code
Type this in your terminal. Put your key in place of YOUR_KEY.
claude mcp add --transport http vemly https://www.vemly.ai/api/market/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"
Other tools
Most tools want this: the address, and a header named Authorization with the value "Bearer YOUR_KEY".
Which key to make
- Member: for every member. The community, messages, launches, the library, challenges, your profile.
- Vibe coder: for developers selected by Vemly. All of the above, plus missions and offers.
- Company: for a company account. Your projects and the offers you receive, plus the above if the account has a member profile.
You can have 5 active keys, for example one per computer.
What you can ask for
Say it in your own words. The sentences below are examples; under each one are the names of the tools your editor uses.
With any key
Everything a member does day to day. A key of any kind has these, as long as the account has a member profile.
Read the feed
What are people talking about on Vemly today?
Your editor reads the community feed and the replies under a post.
list_feedget_postPost in the feed
Post on Vemly what I shipped today, in two sentences, with the tag that fits.
A public post appears in the community feed under your name. Posts are text only.
create_postFind people to build with
Post a Build together call on Vemly: I am building a booking tool, I bring the back end, I look for a designer.
A public "Build together" post appears. Members can contact you from it.
create_build_postReply
Reply to that post and tell them which library I used.
A public reply appears under the post, or under a comment on a launch.
reply_to_postreply_to_commentLike a post
Like the post about the booking tool.
Your like is added (or removed). The author is notified.
like_postDelete something you wrote
Delete my last post on Vemly.
Your post, reply or comment is removed, with its replies. This cannot be undone.
delete_my_postFind a member
Find Vemly members who know Supabase and are open to build.
Your editor searches the public member directory and reads public profiles. Never an email or a phone number.
list_membersget_memberSee the country ranking
Which country is leading on Vemly this week, and where is mine?
Your editor reads the weekly ranking of countries and, for one country, what each member with a public profile brought. Choosing your own country is done on your profile, on the website or in the app.
get_country_rankingMessage a member
Message that member on Vemly and ask if they have time for a call this week.
A private conversation opens with a member who accepts messages, and your message is sent. Only the two of you read it.
start_conversationsend_messageRead your messages and notifications
Do I have anything new on Vemly?
Your editor reads your conversations and your notifications, and can mark the notifications as read.
list_conversationsread_conversationlist_notificationsmark_notifications_readPublish a launch
Publish my project on Vemly Launches.
Your product goes live on the launches board. One launch a day, one per product link. Pictures must be public https addresses; to use a file from your computer, add it on the website.
create_launchupdate_launchget_my_launchesBrowse, comment and upvote launches
Show me today's launches on Vemly, and upvote the one I tell you.
Your editor reads the board and the comments. A comment is public; an upvote counts once per member.
list_launcheslist_launch_commentscomment_on_launchupvote_launchUse the library
Share this repo in the Vemly Library, and find me the most upvoted guides about agents.
Your editor searches the library, shares a public link and upvotes a link you choose.
list_librarypublish_library_linkupvote_library_linkEnter a challenge
What is this week's Vemly challenge? Enter it with my project.
Your editor reads the brief and sends your public entry. Voting on entries is done by people, on the website or in the app.
list_challengesget_challengeenter_challengeKeep your profile and progress up to date
Add this project to my Vemly profile, and tell me how many points I need for the next level.
Your editor reads and changes your profile (the photo is added on the website or in the app) and reads your level, streak and quests.

With a developer key
For developers selected by Vemly: missions and offers.
Find missions
Find the open missions on Vemly about booking apps, and show me the three with the biggest budget.
Your editor reads the open missions with your account and the details of the ones you pick. Nothing is sent.
list_projectsget_projectSend an offer
Send an offer to this mission: 1,200 EUR, 10 days. Write the message from my README, and show it to me before you send it.
The company receives your offer, with your name and profile. One offer per mission, and it cannot be edited: read it before you say yes.
apply_to_projectFollow your offers and deals
Where are my Vemly offers? Did a company choose one?
Your editor lists your offers and their state, and your deals with the next step. Reading and signing a contract stays with you, on the website or in the app.
list_my_applicationslist_my_deals
With a company key
For a company account: your projects and the offers you receive.
Post a project
Post a project on Vemly: a booking page for my salon, budget 800 EUR, needed by the end of next month.
The project is published for developers. It is free for you.
post_projectlist_my_projectsRead the offers and choose
Show me the offers on my booking project and the profile of each developer.
Your editor reads the offers and the developers' profiles, can decline an offer, and can choose one: that creates a draft deal. It never signs: you read and sign the contract yourself.

Limits
A key is for working alongside you, not for posting in bulk. Each account has a budget, counted across all its keys. When a budget is used up, your editor is told how long to wait.
| What | Per minute | Per hour | Per day |
|---|---|---|---|
| ReadingLists, pages, profiles, your own notifications and messages. | 60 | 600 | 3000 |
| Private actionsA message, an offer, marking things read, deleting your own post, a company's choices. | 6 | 40 | 150 |
| Likes and upvotesA like on a post, an upvote on a launch or a library link. | 6 | 30 | 100 |
| Public contentA post, a reply, a comment, a launch, a library link, a challenge entry, your profile, a project. | 2 | 10 | 30 |
One key can make 60 calls per minute. The website's own rules still apply on top: one launch per day, one offer per mission, five new conversations a day, no links in posts from an account younger than 24 hours.
What stays on the website and in the app
Some things are yours to do. No key can do them.
- Reading and signing a contract, confirming a delivery, opening a dispute, cancelling a dealThese commit you. A person reads and decides, on the website or in the app.
- Accepting the terms, becoming a selected developer, creating a company accountThese need your own agreement and your own answers.
- Deleting your account, changing your password, making or revoking keysThese protect your account. They are never given to a key.
- Blocking or reporting someoneA report is your own word about another person.
- Voting in a challengeA challenge can have a reward: its votes are cast by people.
- Uploading a photo or a picture from your computerA key sends text, not files. Add pictures on the website or in the app; a launch can take pictures from public https addresses.
- Teams (creating one, applying, posting in a team)Not offered yet.
How to revoke a key
Open Connect your AI, find the key under "Your keys" and press "Revoke". It stops working at once. Do this if a key was shared by mistake, or when you stop using a computer. Then make a new one.
