Lamun means soft and gentle. It is how we wash, how we lighten dark hair, and how we tell you a fringe is a bad idea.
We are four people in a two-storey shophouse off Phahonyothin Road. Hair is downstairs, nails and brows sit by the window upstairs. Appointments are spaced so that your stylist stays with you from the first question to the last look in the mirror.
Most of our guests have dark, thick Asian hair that has met a lot of humidity. Lightening it well takes time and honesty, and we would rather do it in two calm visits than one harsh one.

Neat, short, wearable nails are her thing. Brows are mapped and agreed in the mirror before a single hair comes out.

Your first visit
A drink and a seat
Arrive five minutes early. Iced butterfly-pea tea, hot ginger or water, and somewhere to put your bag.
Ten minutes in the mirror, hair dry
Your stylist looks at how your hair falls before it is wet and asks how you actually style it on a weekday.
A price before we start
Anything marked “from” is fixed now, out loud. If it is more than you planned, we change the plan.
Wash, then the work
A proper wash with a head massage at the lie-flat basins, then the cut or colour you agreed.
How to do it yourself
You leave knowing which brush, which product and how long it takes. Fringe tidies are free for six weeks.

Book the free colour consultation first. It takes half an hour, and it is the reason our colours come out the way the photo did.
Tell us the history
Box dye, henna, straightening, anything in the last three years. It all changes how hair lifts.
Strand test
We lighten a hidden strand so you see the real result on your hair, not on a chart.
Patch test
A dab of colour behind the ear, 48 hours before a first colour with us.

Lamun Care is our own small range, made for us in Nonthaburi for coloured hair in a hot, humid city. Everything on the shelf is what we use at the basin. Refills are 15 percent off when you bring the bottle back.

From BTS Ari, take exit 3 and walk back along Phahonyothin to Soi Ari. Turn in, pass the coffee roaster on the corner, and take the second lane on the left. We are the pale pink shophouse with the arched door, about four minutes on foot.
By car, there are two spaces in front. Tell us when you book and we will keep one. The motorbike taxis at the mouth of the soi know the lane and charge 15 baht.
